Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you use magpie.sa. It is short, because this website does very little with your data: it sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects nothing at all unless you choose to send us an enquiry.

We are based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and this policy is written to the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its Implementing Regulations.
2. What we collect
When you send us an enquiry
Most contact and booking buttons on this site open the same form. It asks for:

You give us this voluntarily so that we can answer you. Under the PDPL we rely on your consent, which you give by sending the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete the message.
When you press “Contact sales” on the services page
Those buttons open a shorter form that asks for an email address, plus an optional message. No name and no company. Which service you pressed and whether the site was in English or Arabic are recorded automatically, the same as above, and the enquiry reaches us by the same route. Everything else in this section applies to it unchanged.
Please do not send confidential information, credentials, or sensitive personal data (health, religion, biometric, criminal or similar) through this form. It is an ordinary email inbox, not a secure channel. If you need to share something sensitive, say so and we will arrange a proper way to do it.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, no passwords, no payment details. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No analytics and no advertising. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or social media pixel, and no third-party script of any kind on this site.
- No cookies. This website never sets a cookie. See section 3.
- No profiling and no automated decision-making.
- We do not buy contact lists, enrich your details from other sources, or sell or rent your data to anyone.
Technical data recorded by our host
The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and a timestamp — to keep the service running and to defend against abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you, and we do not connect them to enquiries.
Type loaded from other companies
The Latin typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts and Fontshare. Loading them means your browser contacts those companies, which reveals your IP address and user agent to them. We do not control what they do with that; see their own privacy notices. The Arabic typeface is served from our own domain and involves no third party.
3. Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies at all — not necessary ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. That is why you are not asked to accept any.
It stores exactly one item in your browser's local storage:

time. It holds the value en or ar and nothing else. It is not a
cookie, it is never sent to a server, and it contains no identifier. |

4. Who else sees your enquiry
We use a small number of providers to run the site and deliver mail. They process data on our instructions only, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also share personal data where we are legally required to — for example in response to a lawful request from a competent authority.
5. Transfers outside the Kingdom
The providers above operate outside Saudi Arabia, principally in the United States and Europe, so sending us an enquiry means your data is processed abroad. We keep this to what is necessary to run the site and answer you, and we rely on the transfer conditions permitted under the PDPL and its Implementing Regulations.
6. How long we keep it

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, and we will.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPL you have the right to:
- Be informed — how and why our use of your data works, which is what this page is for.
- Access your personal data and request a copy of it.
- Correct anything inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Delete your data where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you did.
Email hello@magpie.sa and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may complain to the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), which supervises the PDPL.
8. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the form is submitted to our own endpoint rather than to a third-party form service, and the credentials that endpoint uses are held as server-side environment variables and are never present in the page. Enquiries live in a Google Workspace mailbox protected by the account controls on it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. That is the reason for the warning in section 2 about what not to send.
9. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects how we handle data you have already given us, we will say so here rather than change it quietly.
